Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30/09/2026
This policy explains how Job & Network Hub (the Hub) and the Job & Network Hub Autofill browser extension handle information when you use job discovery, networking, document generation, and application assistance.
Your profile and application information help deliver the features you use. The extension connects to the Hub server you configure. You can export your Hub data, delete your account, and revoke extension access in Settings.
1. Information we handle
- Account and authentication: your email address, password hash, session records, and extension API token records. The extension stores the token you provide locally in your browser.
- Profile and documents: your CV or résumé, work history, education, skills, contact details, search preferences, locations, goals, and generated CVs and cover letters.
- Jobs and applications: job URLs, companies, titles, descriptions, application status, form questions, saved answers, drafts, and follow-up information. Answers can contain personal or sensitive information you choose to provide.
- Networking information: contacts, LinkedIn URLs, notes, and connection or message data you choose to import. Only import information you have permission to use.
- Settings and service records: feature usage, feedback you send, and technical records needed to operate and protect the service. Hosting services may process connection information such as IP addresses and request details.
2. How the extension accesses websites
The extension runs on HTTP and HTTPS pages to recognize supported job and application pages. On detected job pages, it can send the page URL, company, and job title to your configured Hub server to match a job. When you use application assistance, it reads form labels and questions, retrieves relevant answers and documents, fills fields, and attaches files.
When you choose to save answers, the questions and entered answers are sent to the Hub for reuse. Importing a job sends its URL to the Hub. Marking an application as submitted updates its status in the Hub. The extension does not collect a separate record of your general browsing history; job-page URLs are processed for matching and importing jobs.
Your configured Hub URL, authentication token, auto-submit preference, and dismissed-site preferences are stored using local browser extension storage. Auto-submit is optional and supported only on selected application sites. Information placed into employer forms is handled by those websites, including any processing they perform before submission.
3. How information is used
We use information to authenticate you, discover and rank opportunities, tailor documents, generate or reuse application answers, support networking, track applications, respond to feedback, and maintain service reliability and security. Review generated documents and answers before using them.
4. Sharing and service providers
- Microsoft Azure: hosts the deployed Hub and its stored data.
- Azure OpenAI or OpenAI: processes relevant profile or CV content, job and opportunity text, questions, and other context needed for the AI feature you use. Which provider is used depends on the Hub server configuration.
- RapidAPI job discovery services: receive search terms such as titles and locations to retrieve job listings.
- Employers and application platforms: receive answers and documents when you use their application forms or submit an application. Their own privacy policies apply.
If you configure a different or self-hosted Hub server, its operator controls the information sent to that server and its configured providers. Use a server you trust. Data may be processed outside your country, depending on hosting and provider configuration. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.
5. Storage, security, and retention
Hub workspace data is stored in a separate database for each account. The service uses hashed passwords, session authentication, and revocable extension tokens. These measures do not guarantee that every security risk can be prevented.
Workspace data remains until you delete your account; an automated retention schedule is not currently implemented. Account deletion removes the active account and its workspace database and revokes access. Copies already submitted to employers, exported by you, or processed by external providers are subject to their respective retention practices. Technical logs or hosting backups, if retained, may follow separate operational schedules.
6. Your choices and deletion
- Update your profile through onboarding and your CV in Settings.
- Choose Export my data in Settings to download your Hub workspace data.
- Choose Delete my account in Settings to request permanent removal of your active account and workspace data.
- Revoke an extension token in Settings to stop that token accessing the Hub.
- Disable auto-submit in extension options, or disable or uninstall the extension to stop its website access. Uninstalling the extension does not delete your Hub account.
For privacy questions, help accessing or deleting information, or requests concerning information about you in imported data, email odanieldara@gmail.com. Please do not send passwords, API tokens, or sensitive application documents by email.
